Career: Kate and Laura received liberal arts degrees from the University of California, Berkley in 2001. Kate studied art history with a focus on the 19th and 20th centuries. Laura focused her studies in literature and on the Modern novel. After graduating, the sisters returned to Pasadena where they launched Rodarte. Today their line is in over 40 of the world's premiere retailers including Barneys, Begdorfs, and Nordstroms, to name a few. Their works have been on the over 20 magazine covers, including Vogue.
