Another Complaint About Cosmo's Cover...

Sorry to keep raining down on Cosmo lately, but I can't help but express my critique.

When I first saw this cover on the news stands, I swear I felt like I was in a time warp. The blue background paired with the orange font took me back to issues from the 90's.

Don't get me wrong, Jessica Alba looks adorable, although her outfit isn't the most modern look out there. I know that Cosmo likes to change up the color combo on their covers, as does most magazines, but this just struck me as dated. I don't know...maybe I'm just over Cosmo and it's insistent sex advice (I would like more fashion please!) in general.

With my constant 2 cents (at this point its about $20) about Cosmo, my boyfriend asked me why I even still buy them monthly. My response: I'm addicted to magazines, whether their my favorites or just classics (which you must admit, Cosmo is, at least for my generation). Besides, if I want to work for a magazine some day, I need to take in what I do and do not like in a publication. So thanks for the help, I guess, Cosmo! You are giving me plenty of ideas of what I don't like!
