Fabulous Fall Fashion

As the end of July approaches, I can't help but feel a slight excitement for the possibilities of fall. It doesn't help that the Nordstrom Anniversay Sale has been in full swing since the beginning of the month, selling fall merchandise pre-season at a fraction of the price.

Being as I work there I definitely had to seize the opportunity. The pride and joy of all my purchases was this Rebecca Minkoff clutch made with ostrich-embossed leather for $88.90 (originally $135).

It is a little piece of fall that I get to enjoy now.

For all the Anniversay merchandise visit Nordstrom.com
Prices go up August 1st!

Remembering A Trend Setter

As everyone has heard, Amy Winehouse died today at the age of 27. And I know it's unorignial, but I want to look back at her personal style and her influence on our culture.

RIP xoxo

Nicholas Kirkwood's Platform Kitten Heel

Can something be adorable yet sexy at the same time? Because I think this may have pulled it off...

Nicholas Kirkwood revealed his kitten heel with a platform. To me, the proportions make it look taller than it really is. It's modern but practical. Finally a platform that's not attached to a six inch heel! (Although I LOVE some of those six inch heels...)

MK and Ash's The Row Made New TOMS for Fall

You know my love for TOMS since my job is to sell them at Nordstrom. So you have to know how excited I was when I read about this!

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made some cashmere, herringbone, and plaid TOMS for this fall. They are on sale now and cost between $140-$150. Yes they're way more expensive than normal TOMS, but you have to consider the fabrics (the original ones are made of canvas! Much cheaper!) Plus they have The Row's name attached to them.

I hope we get them in the store soon!

Lauren Conrad: Hair Style Trendsetter

I honestly never thought Lauren Conrad would be the kind of girl to try something this funky. I usually find her style on the bland side. However, this subtle color-streaking style is fun yet functional. It's also very refreshing after all of the feather extensions this summer.
